I went to war with Seleukids, they peaced out half the territory I needed immediately. ![]() After I was finally able to go to war with Maurya I took all I needed for Into Indus and to form the Hellenistic Empire, turned around went and said screw the AE and exhaustion, I have 4 years to get this done before the games over. I have at least 2 civil wars, had to run 100 tyranny to keep my AE and exhaustion manageable, all while Carthage and Rome kept attacking me until I disbanded them several times into small countries. I took out Rome on Magna Graecia and Italy relatively quick due to naval superiority and my vast number of vassals. ![]() I utilized a lot of Feudatories, which are free vassals that don't take DIPLO slots and then I fed Pergamon who was a feudatory a lot of territories in Asia Minor. I remained staunch allies with Egypt my entire playthrough from that point on, until I made them a client state and honestly, they the real MVP, as they saved me from Rome and Carthage several times and helped me in making the Bosporans and Thrace my client states, which came in clutch later on in fighting Rome and the Seleukids. Converted my capital to Pella, which converted me to Macedon. This time I started as Epirus, kept Pyrrhus as the leader and before he died I took Macedon, Illyria and most of Greece to prepare myself for Rome. I tried this once before starting as the Bosporan Kingdom, having gained the blood of Argead lineage to try to form the Argead Empire, but no success.
